I have an eight-year-old son who has taught me how to watch movies like Spiderman 3, the Pirates movies and Star Wars 1-3. Just zoom in to your favorite scenes. These are spectacle movies, not good stories. They shoot for the "wow" factor, not for your soul. The only way I know to appreciate Spiderman 3 is to hold a remote in your hand (and an eight-year-old in your lap).
