Retreat to VA before advancing on TX

Our family took its first vacation since the boys were orn last week. We headed to see family and do some fun stuff in Virginia.

Our first stop was at a way cool hotel called the Great Wolf Lodge.

The hotel is built around an enomous indoor water park.

My boys, who one week before were crying in fear at the thought of going to swim lessons quickly ovecame their hydrophobia.

Just when they thought the fun was over, we brought them to our room. In it was a kids' "Wolf Den" complete with bunk beds and a flat screen TV.

Then we headed to my sister's place. They just installed a pool and we had a lot of fun with them. Water slides are cool, but cousins are cooler.

We even went to Busch Gardens with them.

On the flight home we had a delay. Thank God for portable DVD players.

The trip was a fantastic break from thinking about the move and all that entails. It was a heck of a lot of fun, and great to see family.

I thought that the Great Wolf Lodge looked awesome when we looked at it online back in April, but it looks even better with that adorable Buck family in the pictures! I am so glad that you all had this amazing trip together!
